Sunflower Land is a metaverse game where players can farm, chop, mine, craft and upgrade their farms. Every harvested, gathered or crafted item is own-able on the Polygon Blockchain. This enables users to collect resources, craft the NFT and sell them on supported trading platforms such as OpenSea.

How to start playing in Sunflower Land
- Go to https://sunflower-land.com/play/.
- Connect MetaMask wallet. If your MetaMask is not on the Polygon, change it.
- Buy 1.05 MATIC and leave it in the wallet.
- Connect via Discord to get access to Open Beta.
- Choose a charity and donate 1 MATIC, also users pay a fee. At the time of writing this article a fee is 0.05 MATIC.
- Confirm a transaction.
Upgrading a farm
In order to unlock new fields and seeds, users must collect enough resources, craft a recipe and give it to the Goblin that protects the land.
Depending on the piece of land, a mixture of SFL and crops are different.
Tools
Tools are used to collect different resources, for example, rocks and wood. Most tools are crafted at the Blacksmith.
Trees
Every farm has 5 trees. Each tree has the following characteristics:
- produces between 3-5 wood;
- requires 1 axe (after use it is burnt);
- takes 2 hours to regrow.
Animals
Animals are currently being built and are subject to change. They can produce eggs, milk, steaks, manure and wool.
Professions
Sunflower Land has 2 main professions. More will be added in the future.
- Farming crops and animals.
- Gathering: chopping trees, mining different rocks, beekeeping, fishing, etc.
Players earn experience for performing different types of actions. Every 5 levels user will be able to choose a «skill badge». This will give a boost in a certain area and give access to mint special items.
How to earn in Sunflower Land
Earning SFL
The quickest way to earn SFL is to exchangel crops for SFL:
- buy seeds using SFL;
- plant seeds and wait;
- harvest crops when they are ready;
- visit the town and click on the shop;
- sell crops for SFL.
Minting an item
Crops can be used to craft recipes and items in the game. Once users have collected the necessary resources head to one of the locations that offers rare items: Blacksmith, Tailor, Barn. Player needs to:
- selected an item;
- click «craft»;
- accept the Metamask transaction that appears.
During the Beta-test, the received SFL cannot be withdrawn but as soon as the token is released, everything will work properly.
